Have you ever considered becoming a community volunteer?
Souderton Community Ambulance Association welcomes volunteer membership!
Here are the steps that need to be taken so that we may expedite your application for volunteer membership:
Complete a request for Criminal Background Check and mail to Harrisburg as soon as possible. This takes approximately two weeks to be returned to you. A certified check or money order for $10.00 is required. The form can be downloaded at http://www.psp.state.pa.us/psp/cwp/view.asp?A=4&Q=48275.
You may also request a Criminal History Check Online utilizing the PATCH System at http://www.psp.state.pa.us/patch/site/default.asp.
When you receive the Criminal Background Check back from the state, you will then need to complete a Child Abuse Background Check and attach the Criminal Background Check results.
A $10.00 money order is required for this background check. The form can be found online at http://www.dpw.state.pa.us/. Please note this form cannot be submitted online.
The Criminal Background Check results and completed Child Abuse Background Check Form must then be mailed to:

You will also need to complete the Application for Volunteer Membership form.
When you receive both processed reports, please return with the completed Application for Volunteer Membership to:

Please note we will reimburse you for the background checks when you are accepted.
When we receive the above information, our membership committee will review it and contact you for an interview. Your Criminal History and Child Abuse background check will be returned to you at this time. If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 215-723-3400.
